OUR PROGRAMS REGISTRATION PROCESS ADMISSION POLICY
REGISTRATION – CURRENT 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR (SEP 2025)
To register for the CURRENT (2025-2026) school year, please call HEAD OFFICE at (403) 535-JOSO (5676) for space availability.
RETURNING FAMILIES
If you are a returning family please REGISTER HERE. If you forgot your User Name, please contact Head Office at (403) 535-5676 or admin@josos.ca.
If the program that you are looking for is FULL please call Head Office at (403) 535-JOSO (5676) or email admin@josos.ca to be placed on a priority waitlist.
REGISTRATION – NEW 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR (SEP 2026 START)
To register for the NEW (2026-2027) school year, please REGISTER HERE. If the program of your choice is not showing, please add your child(ren) to our WAITING LIST HERE

PRIORITY REGISTRATION
- Returning Families: Online registration will start on March 1 (please send an email to admin@josos.ca, close to the date, requesting the online preregistration link and we will email it to you on or after the date). Please note that returning families are families who have been with Joso’s in the past, not families who are currently attending Joso’s. Families who are currently attending Joso’s do NOT need to register again.
- New Families Starting in July: Online registration will start on March 10 (please send an email to admin@josos.ca, requesting the online preregistration link and we will email it to you on or after the date).
- New Families Starting in August: Online registration will start on March 17 (please send an email to admin@josos.ca, requesting the online preregistration link and we will email it to you on or after the date).
- General Public: Online registration will start on April 1 on a first come first served basis
Please note that registration is ongoing, once your child is registered into one of our programs you do not need to register your child again, we will advance your child to the next program every year. If you leave the program, your deposit will be returned (if proper notice is given) and the space will be given to another family.
FULL-DAY PROGRAMS AND FEES
A one month’s fee deposit (to be used towards your last month fees) are required at the time of registration for all programs.

Junior Preschool (Junior Pre-K (19M-3Y) (max 12 children) This program is for children from 19 months to under 3 years old.

Kindergarten (JK/K) (4Y-6Y) (max 20 children). This program is for all 4.5-5 year olds and advanced 4 year olds. An Alberta Certified Teacher will be teaching the Alberta Kindergarten Curriculum with focus on individual learning that ensures success for everyone as each child advances at their own state of readiness.

- We will be teaching the Alberta Kindergarten Curriculum with an Alberta Certified Teacher (please note this is NOT an Alberta Education funded program).
- We will customize instruction so that each child can realize their full potential in a student focused learning environment.
- Here are some of the advantages of our JK/Kindergarten program:
- Small class size and effective child/teacher ratios (up to 10 students to 1 teacher).

- Individual learning to ensure success for everyone.
- Excellent for parents who would like to hold their child back a year from the Alberta Education School system.
- After a child completes this program, parents will have a choice to register their child again in Kindergarten or Grade 1 in the Alberta Education system the following school year.
